You have an IPTV subscription and are wondering how to create an IPTV playlist. Our tutorial will help you.
To play an IPTV list, you must first download a file with the .m3u extension from the IPTV source. They are generally available in text editors and can be read by anyone.
For your other questions about iptv you should check our how to page.
The best thing about M3U lists is that they can be opened by any media player, usually audio or video players such as VLC Player, Winamp, iTunes, Windows Media Player. In addition to supporting IPTV M3U files, these apps also support other types of playlists such as PLS, ASX and WPL.
It is very easy to create an IPTV M3U playlist with Notepad on Windows devices. All you have to do is open Notepad and add the desired link (URL) to the playlist and Save a clean file with any name, add a period and enter “m3u”. For example, playlist-movies.m3u. Click “Save”. Fill it with channels and movies.
Once you have the M3U file saved, open VLC Player and click “Media> Open File”. Now locate the M3U playlist file that was previously saved. Select it and press “Open”.
The playlist will appear in VLC as soon as you open it. You can double-click any channel or movie to start streaming it immediately.
You can also use the “Open Network Stream” option in VLC Media Player to open and watch IPTV channels from the M3U links. In this case, instead of browsing the playlist file on your computer, you need to enter a direct link to the online file. To do this, open VLC and click “Media> Open Network Stream”, then paste the direct link (URL) of the IPTV list in the box “Network URL”. If you want to watch movies and series offline, use M3U links / files.
